I love it here, but it weirds me out sometimes - I mean, it's mid-November and I'm sweating in a t-shirt and shorts, having had to break out my flip-flops because it's too fucking hot for shoes. Then I went to Safeway to pick up a turkey for Thanksgiving and froze my hands tossing around 13-pound frozen turkies.

This place is crazy.

I love my roommate about 80% of the time. 10% of the time she annoys me by leaving crap all over the living room, but I kind of resigned myself to that a while ago. So J and I were horsing around, with him trying to get to the unbaked cookie dough on the counter and me trying to prevent him from going through the kitchen door, and when I succeeded in smacking him back against the living room wall, his elbow went through the window.
